We worked with Carmelina over the past two plus years searching for our next home during the crazy COVID housing market. She was able to show us a number of great houses quite literally across the state from Harwinton to Tolland down to Madison and many places in between. We placed competitive offers on maybe a half dozen, only to be massively outbid each time. Carmelina’s positive outlook and committed support kept us in the hunt and eventually led us to a house that really checked all the boxes for us.

Perhaps more importantly, Carmelina was able to sell our old house as the housing market rapidly chilled in the second half of 2022. This was quite literally an old house, built in 1750, and despite the renovations we’d made over the years living there – still in need of significant work and updating. Carmelina’s efforts were successful in finding us an offer within the first month of the house being on the market. Her guidance and again patient counsel kept us on track to successfully close the sale.

Given her commitment, Carmelina is typically busy working for her clients – yet somehow she was always there for us and never made us feel like we were imposing or secondary to any of her other customers. She is on top of all the dates and requirements throughout the buying and selling process, and she always provides reminders and follow ups.

I will mention that we have had several fruitless attempts at finding a new home over the 18 years prior to working with Carmelina. The realtors we worked with during those efforts were not as attentive, supportive, or as willing to work to sell what was admittedly a challenging property.

If and when we need to buy or sell again, Carmelina will be our first call. When our sons are ready to look for a house, we’ll be sending them to work with Carmelina. We are strongly recommending her to our nieces and nephews. I truly cannot recommend her highly enough.
